Relaxation Meditation with Patricia (Patty) Hille Dodd, Meditation Teacher
This 4-week noon-time series, starting Tuesday, October 5th, will offer guided relaxation for the body that quiets the busy mind. Seating and lying down options will be available. No experience is necessary and all are welcome. These meditation events will take place in our spacious ballroom with generous social distancing.
Patty Hille Dodd In 1972, as a teenager, Patty took a Transcendental Meditation workshop and got a taste of the possibility of a kind of freedom that has called her ever since. She began going on Yoga retreats to Kripalu in the 1990s and soon after attended Kripalu’s East meets East conferences that led her to Buddhism. Her current mind/body practices include Iyengar Yoga and Lama Willa Miller’s somatic wakefulness practices. In 2017 she began working with high school students, and those students taught her that they needed to learn how to relax.
These events are free to Mechanics’ Hall members, with a suggested donation of $8 for non-members*.
