Santa Claus is coming to town with friends! Enjoy a pancake dinner, crafts, cookie decorating, activities with Santa's elves and more! Alex's Sunnyside Playroom is proud to present Santa Sunday with Sunnyside. Our non-profit is working hard to give families more meaningful moments while they battle cancer and life-threatening illnesses in the hospital. Here is what our event will look like: Each family will purchase a time slot for a brief time with Santa Claus. You are welcome to take pictures to make your family Christmas card!Each family will experience Santa's elves and helpers with crafts and activities.Raffle and Polaroid pictures with Santa's helpers for $2 at the event.Chris Cakes to provide with an all-you-can-eat pancake flipping breakfast & show! Included with each breakfast-for-dinner is a stack of pancakes with butter & maple syrup, pork sausage, coffee and orange juice!Santa's Workshop with AR Worthington on-site 2:30-4:30 p.m.: https://www.arworkshop.com/event/?loc=worthington&ev=264923 (Project: Holiday Wood Slice Ornaments with pre-purchase price $8 or Event purchase $10 per child/person. )There will be cookie decorating available. Families are encouraged to stay together for their designated time with Santa Claus. Santa will be located in a private room within the church. The tables will be spaced to provide social distancing for activities and eating. We will have volunteers wiping down tables and activities throughout the event. There will be hand sanitizer available throughout the event, as well as hand washing in the bathrooms throughout the church. Mask guidelines are according to the Columbus Public Health Department: COVID19 guidelines We ask if you are ill on the day of the event, that you please not attend. Symptoms to stay home This family event is serving as a fundraiser for our second family playroom within an adult cancer hospital.
