The National Center for Urban Solutions African American Wellness Agency presents The 3rd Annual Financial Wellness Summit: Legacy. This will be a financially empowering networking event centered around Starting, Saving, and Securing a financial legacy. The goal of the event is to provide financial wellness education in a comfortable and entertaining environment. This reception will feature a DJ, free food and spirits, a “Buy Black” retail area to engage and purchase from Black-owned businesses, games, prizes, and more. Guests will leave the event knowing how to build generational wealth for your future and also able to receive a free financial wellness screening to allow them access to important information regarding their financial status. Featuring a keynote speaker, LaRese Purnell, founder of Black Box Fix, The Real Black Friday, and financial executive at CLE Consulting Firm. LaRese will be sharing his extensive financial expertise as well as interviewing our expert panel. This panel will consist of representatives from AARP, Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA), PNC Banking, and Wright Patt. They will cover topics including credit and debt, home ownership, loan acquisition, money management, and more. Masks and social distancing will be required.
