Join the creators of Fizz Fight and producers of The Big Wonderful for an unforgettable afternoon of Jägermeister cocktails, regional chowders, and outdoor fun on a gorgeous fall day. Located near the heart of Denver, Chowdermeister is an exploration of unlikely food friends. Basically, the duck and golden retriever buddies but for food and drinks. Yes, this is an actual thing that is happening. We're not sure why people keep asking that. Grab a bite from the iconic Carrie Baird, ask Mythical Kitchen and Chowdermeister head judge Josh Scherer what he's voting for, or just hang out with our official mascot. A portion of every ticket goes directly to The Gathering Place, Denver’s only daytime drop-in center for women, transgender folks, and their children who are experiencing poverty and homelessness. In a safe, easily accessible space, the most vulnerable members of Denver’s community are able to meet their basic needs while also supporting their long-term health and economic stability. We will be requiring all attendees and even staff to provide proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test (molecular, PCR, or antigen) taken within 72 hours of the event. Acceptable documentation may be a physical copy of a COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card or a digital copy of such card. Any patron needing an exemption due to a medical condition, disability or religious belief will need to complete this form and bring the signed form along with a proof of a negative COVID test (molecular, PCR or antigen) that was administered by an official testing center to the event. Home testing kit results will not be accepted for entry. Chowdermeister is a celebration of an unlikely pairing - Chowder & Jagermeister. The event will showcase Denver's best restaurateurs and bartenders with samples of a variety of chowders and Jagermeister cocktails. After a difficult year for our friends in the restaurant industry, this event aims to highlight the best our city has to offer. The event will partner with a non-profit that's directly supporting our local restaurants who are struggling due to COVID-19.
