It's a bad day to be a squash. It's a good day to hide behind your mask. October 31, 1-7pm. Get your masquerade on as we celebrate All Hallow's Eve. We release Funky Punkin' , a Halloween beer treat. Costumes. Candy. Canned Music. Squash Smashing. Your own hidden self on display - behind that mask. $2*/pumpkin -- buy as many pumpkins as you would like! Includes: A small pumpkin to decorate & take home, or SMASH, as you willthe Monster Mash played more times than you wanta very small fire (so we don't encourage the wrath of the fire department)fun and laughter and wondering, "who is that person? how do I work this? am I right? am I wrong? where is my beautiful house? "Prizes!!Schedule: From 1 - 5 pm: Decorate pumpkins – are they prepared for a good smashing, or will you kindly take them home? At 3p we pour Funky Punkin’ – a very limited release just for Halloween. From 4 – 5pm, vote on the Costumes folx are wearing. Judging will also occur for the Most Decorated Pumpkin. At 5:30p we will announce the winners for most decorated pumpkin and for costuming. Fun prizes and free beer! Must be present to win. 5:45 – 6p: Squash Killer!!! Awards for most creative smash. Bring your own tools for smashing, or we will provide some. 21+ Outdoor seating, weather permitting. * Eventbrite fees not included WE ARE “a celebration of brewing history, style, invention and skill; in a glass.” Tackling experimental, new, traditional and revival styles with a professional approach, we create experiences. The Owners: Wayne Burns and Laura Worley are Michigan transplants, establishing roots in Colorado because of the healthy brewing scene here and proximity to adventures in great mountains and surreal slot canyons. Our brewery is an extension of our roots with our family and friends, brewing and culinary experience, and our deep respect for craft skills, innovation and building reasons to celebrate life. Wayne Burns is a 1994 Seibel Institute & 1998 Doemens Academie professionally trained brewer with 25+ years of professional brewing experience at breweries in Michigan and Colorado. Wayne is a specialist in crafting delicious, cellarable 10%-22% alcohol by volume [ABV] beers and wildly appreciated, award-winning lower-ABV ales and lagers. Laura Worley is a Certified Cicerone®, professional brewer and chef. Laura’s culinary background brings depth to our recipe development, helps structure our style selections, and creates many of the food and beer pairing options for Burns Family Artisan Ales. Her years of brewery and restaurant management experience and successes as a founder/entrepreneur give Burns Family Artisan Ales the excitement and power to be a leader in the world of craft libations. .
