Learn to play 7 Wonders - virtually! Learn a new board game from the Public Library of Brookline collection – virtually! On October 6th at 4:00 p.m. we’ll be learning and playing the award winning game, 7 Wonders. All participants will need free accounts on Board Game Arena and Discord. While players can use any device to play, a computer with speakers and microphone are a plus. All players can also participate through text. Please set up your Board Game Arena and Discord accounts before the game begins. Because we’re all learning a board game together, we ask attendees to log in as close to the start of the game as possible. Once the game has begun, players won’t be able to join until we start a second round. Players will receive an email on the day of the program inviting them to the game. Players can take a look at the instructions HERE, but knowledge of the game is not required. All participants are expected to follow Library behavior guidelines while playing. This includes no insults, bullying, or profanity. Limit 6 Players for this game, Teens and Tweens grades 5-12. Registration via Eventbrite is REQUIRED. The mission of the Public Library of Brookline is to provide access to recorded knowledge and information to all the people of Brookline. The Library will seek to instill in children a love of reading and an appreciation of the library's resources. It will also build and maintain collections of print and non-print materials and provide electronic access to information in order to meet the intellectual and recreational needs of all populations of the community in the most cost-effective manner.
