This is a FREE, FUN, and FESTIVE event that’s VERY Family + Kid + Dog friendly whether you’re interested in adopting or not, lots to do! This is our annual effort to help find FURever homes for shelter and rescue pets by introducing potential pet owners to local rescue groups to match pets with your family. You won’t be able to leave with a pet that day, but you can begin the process. Activities for everyone: a Kids Zone with crafts and games; local artisan crafters with handmade goods; pet product manufacturer reps with samples and coupons; human food and non-alcohol refreshments for sale from local food truck, Miki’s Dog House; and LOTS of exciting dog-centered activities such as 2 pet Halloween costume contests, our popular Dog Luring Course, K-9 police demonstrations and a pet radar speed gun.
