Join us for a FREE 2-day suicide intervention program, ASIST! LivingWorks ASIST is a two-day face-to-face workshop featuring powerful audiovisuals, discussions, and simulations. At a LivingWorks ASIST workshop, you'll learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, providing a skilled intervention, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive. Two knowledgeable, supportive trainers will guide you through the course, ensuring your comfort and safety. Thanks to DBHDS, this training is FREE! You must attend the entirety of BOTH days to receive credit for the course. Chesapeake Integrated Behavioral Healthcare (CIBH)  is the local provider of mental health, substance abuse and intellectual disability services, including services for infants with developmental delays. Our services include individual and group therapy, anger management classes, and case management.    Prevention Services  is designed to empower individuals, families, communities and systems to meet the challenges of life events and transitions without resorting to unhealthy behaviors. Our focus involves creating and implementing conditions that promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles.
