Blackacre Sunday Sunset Music Series Feat. Juggernaut Jug Band (under big tent) The Juggernauts Jug Band will introduce you to music that originated here in Louisville. They play an assortment of wildly interesting instruments including a jug, washboard, kazoo, and more. You might even have the opportunity to play along with the band. You don’t want to miss out! The Juggernauts have played worldwide and have been written up in the Wall Street Journal as “a style that’s essentially raucous folk jazz is enjoying renewed popularity.” Bring your chairs and spread out on our shaded lawn under the big tent. Suggested donation $10 a carload. Presented by Mory and Colliersmith, PLLC The Blackacre State Nature Preserve and Historic Homestead is managed by the Blackacre Conservancy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving a special piece of Kentucky's natural legacy and early settlement history for visitors of all ages.   Our Mission:  To preserve Blackacre's natural and historic features, promote outdoor education, and share Blackacre's cultural heritage with the community.
