TFA October Second Saturday Tour | MODERNISM: The Evolution TFA SECOND SATURDAY TOURS ARE BACK! 2nd Saturday | MODERNISM: The Evolution  $15 | First tour starts at 9:00 am | Saturday, October 9 You are invited to Tulsa Foundation for Architecture's monthly walking tour. Mark your calendar, because TFA Second Saturday Tours feature a different historical area or topic each month. Tulsa has a rich architectural heritage and TFA is passionate about sharing our knowledge with you. Grab your coffee and join in the fun!  October’s tour is MODERNISM: The Evolution. Modernism became the single most important new style/philosophy of architecture and design of the 20th century by rejecting ornament and embracing minimalism. We're excited to highlight some of the newer treasures in Tulsa’s Skyline on this tour. TICKET INFORMATION: Tickets for this tour are $15. Members are available to purchase tickets beginning on September 27th and the general public will be able to purchase tickets beginning on September 30th.  We want to do our part to help cultivate the next generation of architecture lovers, so kids 12 and under are always welcome to participate in our tours free of charge. Thank you for your support!  ON TOUR DAY: Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to get checked in.  Tours begin at 9:00 am and continue in 20-minute increments. Consult the bottom of your tickets for your pre-selected departure time. We recommend checking the forecast, dressing for the weather, and wearing comfy walking shoes. You'll be on foot for this 2-hour tour. Tours happen rain or shine!  CHECK IN LOCATION: Check in for this tour will take place inside TFA's Center for Architecture and design and you will be required to wear a mask while inside. The TFA Center for Architecture and Design is located at: 633 S Boston Ave Tulsa, OK 74119 The NE corner of 7th and Boston PARKING: Ample street parking is available around The Center for Architecture and Design and is free of charge on Saturdays!  QUESTIONS: If you have any questions, please email us at: [email protected].
