P-A1C-E Yourself to Health is a 3k walk to bring awareness to diabetes management and prevention.
In commemoration of World Diabetes Day, we will be hosting a 3k pace race walk. In a pace race the objective is to finish within the prescribed time and in the best physical condition. Physical activity is very important for people with diabetes! The 2021 World Diabetes Day theme is access to Diabetes Care. This 3k is about Pacing yourself to better health and access to diabetes management.
9:00AM-9:45 - walk up Registration and pre registrant packet pick-up
10:00 AM - 3K start- The average time to complete a 3k is 37 minutes varying age and average gait speed. The prescribed time will be 45 minutes, so pace yourself.
11:15 3K awards and drawings
*Award times are tentative. If we can start them earlier we will.
There will be a 1st, 2nd Overall
