An evening of social gathering. Learn about Friedrich's Ataxia. Come join FA Indy as we sponsor an evening of wine tasting, eating, music, games, and education about Friedreich's Ataxia. Participate with auctions that will include: Paintings, sweet treats, wine baskets, grab bags, restaurant gift certificates, tickets to popular Indy venues. FA Indy, Inc is a nonprofit based in Indianapolis. Its mission is to bring awareness and education to the general public and medical community regarding Friedreich's Ataxia, provide grants to those with Friedreich's Ataxia, and support research to find a treatment for Friedreich's Ataxia. Friedreich's Ataxia is rare genetic disease that affects the function of the muscles. The muscles eventually deteriorate to the point where the person becomes confined to a wheelchair. There is no cure for this disease.
