Take a behind-the-curtain tour of Kancamagus 8.
President and General Manager Jay Scambio, along with Brian Norton, Vice President of Resort Operations will take you through the bottom terminal job site and provide deeper details of the lift, the open-air parking structure and how this lift plays a role in Loon’s flight path.
As this is a construction zone, hard hats are required and will be provided. Masks are required outdoors when 6 feet of distance cannot be maintained.
Tours depart at 9:00am, 10:00am and 11:00am on Saturday, October 9 and Sunday October 10. Each tour will be 45 minutes including a chance for questions at the end. The number of people per tour will be limited.
Arrival: Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled tour time. Columbus Day weekend is a busy time for traveling, plan accordingly.
Tours start in the Main Lot and will begin promptly. Hard hats will be provided during your tour.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Loon Mountain Area Community Fund
The Loon Mountain Area Community Fund is dedicated to improving the quality of life in the communities surrounding Loon Mountain. The fund has been established to assist members of the community in need, as well as with financial assistance for education. Hardship may be caused by issues such as an accident or personal injury, medical issues and hospitalization, death in the family, fire or natural disaster. Our goal is to improve the lives of those in need who live, work and recreate in the Loon Mountain area.
