This event listing is for volunteers to sign up for different tasks, in support of our upcoming Mamas & Margaritas event. After a long, long year of remote learning the kids are back in school! Let's all celebrate a fresh start at Alameda's newest stroll event, Mamas & Margaritas (Cool Papas too!). Ticket holders will take to our downtown district tasting festive mini margaritas paired with yummy bites at 8 unique OUTDOOR downtown locations. There will be music, laughter, and good times all around. We need fabulous volunteers to help make this happen! Please consider helping in one of the following ways: Set Up (3:30pm-4:30pm) - help set up tables and collateral at check in locations. Check-In (4:30pm-7:30pm) - greet and check in guests, answer questions, etc. We have two check in locations and we'll need 10 volunteers per location. Pouring Stations (5:30pm-8:30pm) - pour margaritas, help manage event area, answer questions, etc. We have 8 pouring locations total and we'll need 5 volunteers per station. We are taking all necessary precautions to ensure this is a safe event. Participants must provide proof of vaccination or a negative test (within 72 hours of the event). Guests will also be encouraged to wear their masks when not actively eating or drinking. There will be two check in locations - Dragon Rouge and Alameda Ave. to help keep everyone safely distanced. Volunteers will be able to enjoy the festivities - you will receive a commemorative glass and have time to visit some of the different pouring locations.
