Don't miss out on the largest Inter-SSA event in California - by Sikh student, for Sikh students! This unique conference aims to unite Sikh students from different regions of North America to build a strong and powerful Sangat, also continues to allow and foster new innovative ideas, as well as inspires a new generation of community leaders. The main focus of this conference will be “Ekta” (Unity). The workshops and speakers will help students understand the meaning of “Ekta”; how to further cultivate the concept of “Ekta” as leaders, and learn about the principles that go along with “Ekta”. This is truly and undoubtedly an event that you don't want to miss out on! United Sikh Movement (USM) strives to strengthen the Sikh community by building a structural foundation, providing a variety of resources and presenting networking opportunities for Sikh Students Associations. USM grounds its projects and structures in four principles centered around Simran (Spirituality), Seva (Philanthropy), Sangat (Community), and Academics. USM also unites Sikh youth through comprehensive community building, philanthropy, and political organization. Furthermore, USM provides students opportunities to engage critically on issues pertaining to Sikhism to incubate and inspire the present and future Sangat members and leaders.
