13 October, 2021

Description

We'll check out the all-new Revolutionary War Visitors Center in Camden and then head to Old McCaskill's Farm for lunch and a farm tour! We'll meet up at the ALL NEW Revolutionary War Visitors Center in Camden at 212 Broad Street in Camden. This 3 acre complex was recently completed at $6 million and includes 3 buildings (the Public House, Market Place and Liberty Hall). There are displays that should be interesting as we take a self-guided tour of the complex. If you went on our daytrip a couple of years ago to the Revolutionary War Park, this should bring back memories although it's a completely different place. After we look this over, we'll head to Old McCaskill's Farm in Rembert (less than 10 minutes away) where we'll be treated to a private lunch with Ashley serving some of her amazing homemade dishes to us! Indoor seating. We'll then get Kathy McCaskill to show us around their absolutely amazing farm and introduce us to their farm animal family, explain the care of the animals, show us their award-winning bed and breakfast and their pumpkin patch where we, who need pumpkins, can pick one out to purchase! Their farm store has lots of goodies we'll want to check out as well. Things should wrap up mid-afternoon.
