Finding Healing, Strength, and Restoration through the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Christ SEMINAR OVERVIEW In life, no one escapes pain and suffering, wounds and abuses, frustrations and disappointments, sickness and death. During our darkest times, Christians are invited to experience Christ’s resurrected life. We long for and need to be healed and restored, but often resist traveling the difficult path which leads to life. The road to resurrected life is paved with pain and suffering. Only when we share in the fellowship of Christ’s suffering can God reveal the power of the resurrection, heal our heartaches, strengthen our faith, and restore us to walk in resurrected life. In this seminar, we will follow Christ’s path of suffering from the Garden of Gethsemane to Golgotha. We will explore the ways in which He suffered and discover how our pain and His are the same. With each step, we will examine Christ’s willingness to embrace suffering and identify God’s purpose for our pain as He exchanges our wounds with resurrected life. Together, let’s invite the Spirit of God to make sense of our suffering, show us the purpose of our pain, and bring hope and healing found through resurrected life. This seminar was initially developed for the Lebanese and Syrian staff of Heart for Lebanon, an organization serving Syrian refugees in Lebanon. All proceeds from this event will fund CULTURELink's International Budget so we can continue to invest in our partners around the globe. SEMINAR INSTRUCTOR Led by an experienced CULTURELink instructor, seminar participants are guided through ten training sessions that equip them to prepare their teams before, during, and after their cross-cultural experience. This seminar will be taught by Larry Ragan, founder of CULTURELink. Larry brings experience from over 50 countries.
