NEWTON, MA — Voters for a Vibrant Newton (VVN), a local political action committee formed to promote an inclusive, forward-looking vision for the city, has endorsed 11 candidates in contested races for Newton City Council. The candidates, who submitted their answers to detailed questionnaires, were chosen based on their commitment to VVN's goals and making sure Newton strives to become an open and welcoming city with vibrant village centers, diverse housing options, environmentally sustainable living, and a solid fiscal footing.
