MILWAUKEE, WI — The Milwaukee Brewers' pitcher Devin Williams fractured his hand after punching a wall Sunday when the team was celebrating its victory in the National League Central. Williams was placed on the team's 10-day injured list with a right hand fracture, the team said. He risked missing out on the rest of the postseason. "I was on my way home, I was a little frustrated, upset and I punched a wall," Williams told reporters on ESPN. "There's no one to blame but me." David Stearns, the Brewers' president of baseball operations, said that Williams noticed that his hand hurt when he tried to throw at a game Tuesday. Doctors took an X-ray of his hand and determined it would need surgery. The team picked pitcher Colin Rea from Triple-A Nashville to replace Williams while he sits out the next few games. The Milwaukee Brewers play against the St. Louis Cardinals Thursday. The team will play against the Los Angeles Dodgers Friday.
