Description
These sweet girls need a home.
My mother has gone into a nursing home and her current husband has gone to jail. These dogs became my responsibility and I can not keep them as we are moving out of state in 2 weeks. 2 female chihuahuas both timid but very sweet. When I picked them up from animal control the smaller one had sores on her back from a harness that was too small, I've been treating those with antibiotic ointment and they're healing well. They're lap dogs who love cuddles and are very sweet once they warm up to you. They've been through a lot of upheaval in the past few weeks but haven't shown any aggression other than scared barking. They're good with my 5 and 6 year old sons as long as my boys get down on their level and introduce themselves each time they interact with them.
I do not know the status of their vet care, if any, or their age. My mother has had multiple strokes due to a head injury and can't answer my questions but my best guess is that they're about 2 years old. They're partially house broken and fully crate trained. They're bonded to one another and need to go to a home together. They'll eat both wet and dry food and have had a flea bath but need flea medicine. I'm asking a small rehoming fee of $75 to cover the crate that they'll come with and food, this is negotiable if you can prove you have a safe home for them. They don't have names that we know of and really just need and deserve so much love. I have an appointment to surrender them on Saturday to a shelter but would really rather not because they will likely be euthanized. They're so sweet and loving once they know you're safe. I can meet you with them if needed. Thanks for reading.
