Description

Hello, I am considering rehoming my Border Collie Milo of 11 months. He is chocolate and white and will be 1 year old on Halloween. I thought I could manage his high energy but its becoming considerably difficult. I take him to the dog park almost daily and walk him often, but it does not seem enough at times. I love him deeply and have invested so much money into him. He is ABCA registered, neutered, up to date on shots, and perfectly healthy and happy. I just want to give him the best life possible but am having doubts whether I am the best fit for him. He deserves to be in the best home suited for his needs. He is wonderful and friendly and gets along with all dogs. I adopted him at 10 weeks old and have socialized him very early on. He has no aggression issues whatsoever and is 100% healthy. I will be vetting anyone that is interested. This person must have a large yard or live on a property with lots of land. They must also have experience with extremely high energy dogs. Milo can go for hours without tiring and needs lots of stimulation. Border Collies are known for herding and Milo loves to run and herd. He is highly intelligent and food motivated. He learns commands quite quickly as well. He knows sit, down, stay, come here, leave it, and shake. Because of my strong attachment to him, I am also looking for someone that would be comfortable with me visiting Milo once in awhile. Maybe 1-2x a year. Again, I love him deeply and will only consider giving him to a new home if I am 100% sure he is going to good people in a good and loving home. He is the most wonderful loving dog and it breaks my heart that I may give him up. I just want to do what's best for him. I will be asking for a fee when he is re-homed. Please contact if you are serious. I am located in San Francisco but willing to drive him to his new home. Thank you so much, Chelsea
