Hey I have an interesting proposition for the right person. I have a 5 piece band. We have all gear necessary for rehearsal & live multi-track or session recording. Deal I'm offering is this: you provide the space, we provide the gear & the set up. We practice once a week, you have a fully functioning easy to use, no tech, no headache rehearsal/recording studio at your disposal the other 6 days a week for free. Guidelines for space: your space needs to be secure, and ok with us mounting stuff on walls (mainly studio foam panels and guitar hangers). Ideally, I'd be looking for a space that isn't just an extra room in your house, strictly bc I think you will not appreciate 5 strangers in your actual home. Also, we're a rock band so we can get loud. If you and your neighbors are in a pissing match or your HOA is a real mammajamma, we're not gonna help your home life. If noise is gonna be an issue, then its a deal breaker, because we make some. Gear list includes guitar/bass amps (incl. pedals & DI boxes), drum kit (7 mic set up for recording), 16 track presonus digital mixer, PA w speakers, individual headphone monitoring for up to 6 ppl, reference monitors for recording playback, all vocal mics (dynamic for live & multiple condenser for recording), effects units x3, studio foam paneling, studio furniture (sofa + additional seating, recording console table, mounted tv monitor, mini fridge, rugs and curtains for sound deadening). Can and will also integrate any gear you own so that it is ready for use with any of our gear. Studio set-up is for rehearsal with simultaneous 16 track live recording for references. (Pix before mixer was added, don't have any pix of current set up but its similar). We are generally located in the Rohnert Park area and are looking for a space that isn't a huge commute. We are all grown ups (40+) and we will treat you and your space with respect. If you'd like a studio but feel like the cost, hassle or learning curve is too much, this is a great opportunity.
