25th Celebration of Dia de Los Muertos Familia sessions for 11 & younger and their families This is our second session for younger children under 12 and their families. Casa de Rosado Galeria & Cultural Center and the Dia de Los Muertos Advisory Committee host our 25th community celebration of Dia De Los Muertos on October 30, 2021 from 3pm to 5:30pm. A free ticketed event with 30 ofrendas and a Dia de Los Muertos mercado located at One Love Global, 3525 S Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Suite B, Lansing, MI. Contact: Theresa 517-402-0282 , [email protected] Our second session, singer Gabriel Estrada III and the Catrinitas/os parade runs from 3pm to 5:30pm and is intended for children under 12 and their families. Children are encouraged to dress up in sugar skull face paint and fancy and imaginative clothes for a Catrinitas/itos parade. There will be no on sight face painting at this year’s event to reduce Covid transmission so break out your creativity at home! Masks are required even for the youngest. No one will be admitted without a mask. Gabriel Estrada III will perform at 3pm. The Cantrinitas/itos Parade will start at 4pm. Prizes will be awarded to the best Cantrinita/itos. No food or beverages will be allowed in the event.
