What does it mean to be American? What holds us together in turbulent times?
WCMU Public Media, in partnership with the Chippewa River District Library, invite you to join us for an in-person film screening of exclusive clips from PBS film “American Creed” and panel discussion to learn what it means to be American in today’s world from the perspective of a Michigan State Scholar and U.S. Military Veteran.
Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions during a Q & A session. Questions will be answered by panelists University of Michigan-Flint History Professor, Thomas C. Henthorn and Director of the Central Michigan University Veterans’ Resource Center, Duane C. Kleinhardt.
The event will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26th at the CMU Park Library Auditorium. Please remember to wear your mask.
This in-person event will be following CMU's COVID and masking guidelines. Please refer to the CMU Health & Wellness page for more details — https://www.cmich.edu/covid19/Pages/health-safety-protocols.aspx#guidelines.
