Free RTA Passes Can Be Picked Up In Howard County School Offices

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Students with the Howard County Public School System can pick up free passes from their school offices to use the RTA bus system for the rest of the school year and summer. The school district partnered with the Howard County Government and the Regional Transit Authority of Central Maryland to provide the free RTA bus passes to students. The passes will support students who use public transportation to get to jobs and other services and destinations throughout the county. They are not intended to take the place of school buses for transport to school, the district noted. RTA plans to make digital passes available in early 2022. To view routes, visit this site.
