PENINSULA SERVICES IS HIRING FOR COMMISSARY STORE WORKER - Part-Time - Day Shift with evening availability Where: PSNS Commissary Type: Part Time, Regular Employee, Non-Exempt Wage: $16.27 - $18.02 per hour depending on job being performed + $4.22 health & welfare benefits Benefits: paid sick leave, vacation, and 401(k) after you qualify Work Schedules: 2 days/week on Day Shift 9a.m.-5p.m. but must be available for the Evening Shift 3 days/week 7p.m.-*12:00 midnight. *Shift ending hours may vary according to need. Closing Date: October 29, 2021 – BUT HIRING NOW so don’t delay! Typical duties include but are not limited to duties of all three jobs: Shelf Stocking - receive, store, relocate, distribute, fill, rotate, and face shelves with stock. Material Handling - Operate forklift, identify and transport merchandise as directed. Warehouse - comply with Commissary storage procedures, maintain inventory, sorting or segregate incoming merchandise. Janitorial - perform all general custodial duties at the Commissary. Please Note: This is NOT a cashiering position. Qualifications: Must be able to work a rotating schedule that will include some evenings and weekends. Forklift Driver preferred. Must be able to successfully complete our forklift driver training program or already have a current forklift driver’s certification. Basic knowledge of shipping/warehouse procedures and regulations preferred. At least two years’ experience as a warehouse team member preferred. Must be able to read and write English fluently. This position also has specific physical requirements which are listed in the Position Description. Basic Requirements: Must successfully complete federal and state background checks, pre-employment drug screening. and provide evidence of your qualification to work in the US and on a military base. Valid State Driver’s license required and clean driving record with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by our insurance company.
