HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Celebrate Long Reach Village's 50th anniversary with free music, a fine arts and crafts show featuring 20 artists, DIY projects and oversized games. There also will be the permanent public art installation of a mural and a kids comedy and magic show. Other merchants and arts organizations on hand include the African Art Museum, Roll Up n Dye, Columbia Art's Center, Began Soul Bakery, Every Kid Can Cook, Power 52, Community Action Council of Howard County and more. There will be local food trucks both days, too. Activities will take place Oct. 15 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Oct. 16 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The event is being hosted by Columbia Festival of the Arts.
