MORRISTOWN, NJ — New Jersey passed legislation in March to enact in-person, early voting. The option to vote early will be available throughout the state for the General Election. Here's what to know about voting early in Morristown, with information from the Morris County government. What Is Early Voting? Early voting is an opportunity for voters who haven't requested a mail-in ballot to use a voting machine before Election Day. The new option will use electronic poll books and new voting machines to provide voters with access to their ballot at seven locations around the county. Am I Eligible to Vote Early? All registered voters in Morris County are. Check if you're registered. When and Where Can I Vote Early? Based on state guidelines, there are seven locations in Morris County available for early voting. Eligible Morris County residents can utilize any of the seven locations, which include: Central Park of Morris County: 2 Executive Dr., Morris PlainsDenville: 1 Saint Mary's Pl.Hanover: 15 N. Jefferson Rd.Madison: 28 Walnut St.Morristown: 200 South St.Mount Arlington: 18 North Glen Ave.Mount Olive: 204 Flanders-Drakestown Rd. Early voting for the General Election will take place from Oct. 23-31, within the following hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Can I Still Choose Other Voting Options Yes, voters who applied for a mail-in ballot may vote by mail.
