Description
I was half-aware of a car coming up the hill but I wasn’t paying attention. As I gazed off into the distance, I unexpectedly started to feel a profound wave of warmth and comfort wash over me. Then suddenly I felt startled, and for some reason I don’t understand, jerked my head around to directly face you. It took my eyes a moment to focus in on you, because I didn’t know what I had turned to see. Then I found you. You had intense blue eyes and chiseled features, a majestic being all around. You looked surprised for a second, then a tiny smile crept across your face. I think I just stared at you in wide-eyed confusion for those brief seconds. I wish I’d gained my composure quickly enough to smile back before you were gone.
