But 24 years after Rhoads joined the force, it continues. (Des Moines Register)The Southeast Polk School Board approved a mask mandate for pre-kindergarten through sixth-grade students during a special meeting Tuesday. During Tuesday night's Southeast Polk meeting, several motions were introduced that either failed to gain a second or enough votes to pass. Board members then approved a mask mandate for elementary students, plus staff and visitors who are inside elementary schools during the school day.
