SAN RAMON, CA — A wildfire off of Bollinger Canyon Road prompted officials to close a portion of the road late Wednesday afternoon. The fire was contained as of 4:30 p.m. and was not a threat to the City of San Ramon, police said. Police closed the road at 18800 Bollinger Canyon, north of Crow Canyon Road, and asked drivers to avoid the area through about 5:15 p.m. Firefighters are onscene of a Vegetation Fire in the 18500 block of Bollinger Canyon Road.
