FEMA To Help Hackettstown Residents With Post-Ida Issues

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Residents who were been impacted by the remnants of Ida, may be able to find help through FEMA. Representatives for the Federal Emergency Management Agency are coming to Hackettstown this Monday to answer questions about potential Ida assistance, on Oct. 4 from 9 to 5 p.m. FEMA is scheduled to be at the Miller Street Firehouse to answer eligibility questions if insurance didn't cover property damage from Ida or for residents who may be uninsured. A Disaster Recovery Center has opened up in Warren County as well through FEMA for Ida-related issues, at the Franklin Township Municipal Building. That center is open to all New Jersey residents in counties eligible to apply for disaster assistance, Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Click here for more information about the Disaster Recovery Center in Warren County.
