Rush/Pink Floyd/Led Zeppelin/Yes/Kansas Tribute Band

Description

I'm looking to form a multi-tribute band. The idea is to come up with 3 bands to make a tribute to and have one set be that band, the next be another, and the last one be another. I saw this in a band out of Florida that does a Led Zeppelin set, Pink Floyd set, and a Rush set. I'm located in the Greenville area and to my knowledge there are no classic/prog rock tribute bands, let alone a multi-tribute band. I think this would offer something very unique to potential gigging establishments that have nothing but the middle of the road classic rock and top 40 hits played. I play guitar and can also offer some lead and backing vocals (particularly lead vocals for the Pink Floyd stuff). I have a jam room with a PA and drum kit setup for rehearsals, but am also open to rehearsing elsewhere. I am a huge fan of this kind of music and have always wanted to do something like this. Ideally I would be looking for an additional members for bass, keyboards, drums and/or who could cover the higher register vocals of bands such as Led Zeppelin/Rush/Kansas/Yes. Ideally, the group would come together and decide on three bands to tribute to and polish 10-15 songs per band to offer a great and unique show. Even if you only fit the vocal or bass or drum niche, I look forward to hearing from you! Sometimes all it takes is for two people to branch out and meet the others needed to make it happen. Send me an email and then we will exchange contact information from there!
