ORLAND PARK, IL — A 35-year-old woman was issued a citation for assault at Orland Square Mall's Cheesecake Factory after being upset about her food, according to Orland Park Police reports. On the night of Sept. 20, records indicate an officer was dispatched to the restaurant over a customer dispute. When police arrived, reports state that Denisha Brooks, of Chicago, was asked to leave after she threatened to hit an employee because she did not like her spinach dip. "I'll wait for you after your shift," Brooks told the employee, according to the police report. Brooks was then asked to leave. Officers spoke with Brooks, who left the restaurant without any issues. She confirmed a verbal altercation occurred, but did not remember exactly what was said, according to the police report. Brooks was issued a municipal violation citation for assault, and has a hearing date scheduled for Tuesday at the Orland Park Civic Center, according to the police report.
