Description
CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were kept busy on Thursday including two accidents.
At just before 11:30 a.m., firefighters and police were sent to Storrs Street, underneath the legislative garage, for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian had a shoulder injury, according to scanner chatter.
At just before noon, a Concord police officer called for backup and fire to come to Route 106 near the entrance to Walmart for a two-car accident. The officer said there was damage to both vehicles, both drivers were noting injuries, and one driver was having difficulties exiting the vehicle due to a door being jammed.
About 15 minutes later, a second ambulance was requested. The driver who was stuck in the vehicle was removed and prepared for transport.
Both drivers were then taken to Concord Hospital.
