MARINA DEL REY, CA — An ocean water use warning extended Wednesday night for the third consecutive day for waters near Mother's Beach in Marina del Rey after testing results showed bacteria levels were exceeding state standards.
Swimmers and surfers were warned before swimming at the following beaches:
Mother's Beach in Marina Del ReySanta Monica Pier in Santa MonicaManhattan Beach Pier in Manhattan BeachRedondo Beach Pier in Redondo BeachInner Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health continues to caution residents visiting these Los Angeles County beaches to be careful of swimming, surfing, and playing in ocean waters.
"Ocean water bacteria level exceeds state standards and may cause illness," according to public health officials.
