Press release from the City of Decatur: September 30, 2021 Roadside Traffic Systems, for Norfolk Southern Railway, will be performing railroad crossing repairs on Faries Parkway beginning Tuesday, October 5, 2021, weather permitting. This work will cause the closure of Faries Parkway starting at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 5, 2021, and will continue to approximately 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 8, 2021. The detour route will be as follows: Brush College Road to Reas Bridge Road to Christmas Tree Road to Faries Parkway and Faries Parkway to Christmas Tree Road to Reas Bridge Road to Brush College Road.
