DETROIT — Michigan State Police said Wednesday night they are closing eastbound Interstate 94 at Mount Elliott to investigate a shooting.
Police said a driver entered the eastbound freeway at 7:40 p.m. and was cut off by a black Dodge Challenger, prompting the driver to honk his horn.
The female driver of the Challenger then pulled out a gun and started firing shots at his vehicle, several of which hit, police said.
The driver was not struck and no other injuries were reported, police said.
