I might just be the producer you’ve been looking for! About me: I’m Zach, a songwriter and recording artist from Los Angeles, my studio is located in North Hollywood off Magnolia and Vineland. I have 20 years experience writing and playing music and over 18 years of recording studio experience. Songs I’ve produced/written/recorded have been used in over 100 ads, commercials, films and TV shows since 2014. My bands/artist pages have accrued over 7 million streams on Spotify alone in that same time frame. I am session-worthy on bass, guitar, and vocals. I can also play drums and keys. I can facilitate most, if not all recording/production in my studio. I understand the details of drumming and can build authentic programmed drum parts that feel and sound real, or robotic/electronic. My greatest strength, however, is my ear. I have ‘relative pitch’ and spotless time that gives me the capability to fix even the slightest errors in pitch and rhythm, making any recording tighter and better sounding! I mostly work with rock, indie and alternative pop artists/bands but I am open to working on mostly anything. Pricing: Email me about pricing. Generally speaking, my price includes a rough mix, and 3 subsequent mixes to fine tune each song. Small changes can be made of course and there is wiggle room. But 3 mixes is usually enough to get what we are after. I don’t charge hourly due to the added pressure on the musicians and it leaves little room for experimentation. However, a song is like a painting in that it’s never really done, you just stop working on it.
