Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities: The Weatherization Program Auditor is responsible for technical aspects of fieldwork in NeighborImpact’s Weatherization Program including: • Home energy audits and final inspections; • In process inspections and contractor feedback; • Contractor relations and technical training; • Client relations and education; • Audit/inspection documentation and reports; • Production progress reports; and • Change order and invoice approval. • The Auditor is an integral part of the team providing weatherization services and energy education in the three counties of Central Oregon and as such interacts daily with others both within and outside of NeighborImpact. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: • BS/BA in related field required OR four years of relevant experience required. • Current certification in Quality Control Inspection (QCI) or Senior Energy Analyst Lead (SEAL) required. • Detailed knowledge of home weatherization process and residential construction standards required. • Lead Paint Inspector/Risk Assessor certification required. • Experience with residential construction codes, construction cost estimating and construction project management. • Demonstrated REM/Design computerized audit tool skills highly preferred. • Familiarity with Federal and State weatherization regulations preferred. • Position involves regular travel within service area. • Out of area travel will be required for training/educational purposes. • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19 • Prior to date of hire and throughout employment: o Valid driver’s license; o Proof of current auto insurance; o Access to reliable transportation required and o Satisfactory criminal background check required.
