Meet Ritz! He is a 1yo male shepherd mix who weighs roughly 40lbs. Ritz and the rest of his litter was rescued from Ensenada, Mexico. He is a playful, affectionate pup who needs a little help with his social skills as he grew up mostly in a rescue environment in baja. While he is not timid or shy, he is learning how to be a dog in a home. Ritz is housebroken, requires a yard, and is a very active guy. He will be a great companion for hikes and running. While he is good with dogs outside the home, inside the home he is protective of his things against other dogs (he shares great with people) as this is how he grew up. He may do best as the only dog in the home but with positive socialization can be a "dog park" dog as he loves to play. Ritz loves to cuddle, belly rubs, gives kisses, and sleeps in his own bed on the floor. Ritz needs a foster or a forever home.
