Hiring Entry-Level Grinding & Production Shift: Day Pay: 19$-20$ + Growth Opportunities Location: North Portland; close to St. Johns - Portland airport. If you are comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment & capable of performing physically demanding work, we are happy to train you from scratch. Individuals with manufacturing experience especially in steel, grinding, or forklift are encouraged to apply. Common Duty’s • Move materials 50+ lbs. by forklift • Gather & prepare steel for melting • Melting & pouring molten metal with crane operators & technicians • Prepare casting sand • Grind out part imperfections • Assist with production & material handling • Shop cleanup Work Environment • Hot at times • Work around heavy industrial with attention to safety. *Safety is taken seriously above all else* • Some areas are noisy and require earplugs. • Casting steel parts can be dirty/dusty/greasy but cleaning is constant.
