Full-time · Associate · Requires working Evenings and Weekends This is specialized work involved in the inspection of Fire Rated D oors per NFPA 80. Employees in this job serve as Fire Door Inspectors ensuring that inspected facilities are in compliance with the NFPA 80 standards for fire door inspections Role and Responsibilities Benefits and 401k Available Inspection of fire-rated and smoke doors per NFPA 80. Ensure completion of accurate reports for customer code compliance. Maintain professional, timely communication with customers prior to and following project s. Job Requirements Successfully obtain Fire Door Inspector certification through IFDIA and/or DHI within 90 days of hire and before performing inspections independently. Demonstrate ability to follow inspection methods and procedures, recognizing and recording deficiencies. Demonstrate knowledge and use of tools and maintenance and calibration requirements. Experience in customer service and working with the public and clients. Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently and efficiently. Good verbal and written communication skills. Professional appearance. Knowledge of computer software (Word, Excel and Email). 100% travel required. Additional Requirements Must be 21 years of age. Must have valid driver license. Must pass drug screen, criminal background check & receive required inoculations (flu/hepatitis or others as required). Working extended hours, including evenings and weekends are required.
