Wanna write some original music

I'm a 46 year old guitarist who also plays bass and a wee bit of drums. I can't play on stage anymore, but I miss playing. I'd like to write some original rock music. My influences are RATM, Chevelle, Tool, In This Moment, Alice in Chains, Shamans Harvest, Avatar, Clutch, etc.. I also listen to a good bit of blues.
