Civil Works Contracting is looking for experienced Pipe Layers for our Utility Crews. Applicants must have have three years experience as a lead pipe layer. Qualified applicants must be able to set up the pipe laser (line up, dial in percentage), keep the trench dewatered, insure quality control in the homing of the pipe and installation of mechanical fittings. At Civil Works contracting, our Utility crews are responsible for installation of storm drain and storm structures, gravity sewer and sewer force main, setting of manholes, installing water line and like pieces and parts, setting and plumbing lift stations, setting and plumbing meter vaults and valve vaults. This is a great opportunity for motivated hard working individuals. CWC believes in promoting from with in the company. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $23.00 per hour depending on your abilities. Average work weeks are around 50 hours.
