Meet Penelope - she is a 3 year-old, female, Vietnamese potbellied pig. She was an indoor pig for the first year of her life before transitioning to outdoor only. I'm moving to a location where pigs and large animals are not allowed, and though my parents were willing to keep her, she's been escaping out of their pasture and getting into the road. We're afraid she'll get hit by a car because they're not equipped with the proper fencing for her. She's a good girl who deserves a nice, loving home with a big yard or pasture, and maybe even a couple of piggy pals to keep her company. I'm willing to transport her for free, up to 50 miles and can pay for a portion of her spaying fee. She does well with older kids, teens, adults, and a variety of small and large animals - but NOT with little kids under age 7. We're pretty sure she was neglected before we got her; she was malnourished, and little children absolutely terrified her. I don't know how much she weighs, but my best guess is around 180-200 pounds.
