About Us: Swiss Cellars is an independently owned importer and distributor of beverages serving primarily the Wisconsin market. Our customers are retailers, restaurants and bars. We are seeking a new part-time team member to join our family and maintain our standards of service and dedication. Job summary: The warehouse clerk performs warehouse and vehicle maintenance, receives and manages inventory, processes orders, picks, checks and loads orders onto delivery vehicles. The hours are daytime hours, about 3-5 hours usually on Monday or Tuesday. The delivery driver delivers products to business customers and merchandises these products. The hours are on Wednesdays and Thursdays but may change during Holiday weeks and staff vacation. This is a combined position warehouse clerk and delivery driver. IMMEDIATE AVAILABILITY Responsibilities and Duties WAREHOUSE CLERK Unload and receive inventory/products Organize inventory Create delivery manifest using a routing software Process and sort orders by delivery routes Accurately pick, check and load delivery orders Report to management with regular oral and written reports Perform various tasks related to company operations such as warehouse and vehicle maintenance, spot inventory counts, etc Warehouse hours are usually on Monday mornings, sometimes Tuesdays. Hours vary based on workload DELIVERY DRIVER Deliver products to business customers Merchandise products delivered Hours are every Wednesday and Thursday, starting usually around 8am but as early as 5am (once or twice a month), and finishing usually mid to late pm. Hours vary based on workload Availability on Fridays as backup driver preferred This position combines warehouse and delivery work Schedule changes on Holiday weeks Start date: asap Qualifications and Skills Clean driving record Over 21 years old Able to lift 70lbs, and to work long days Customer oriented Well organized, focused, detail-oriented, accurate with record keeping and able to work independently Able to read, understand, and follow warehouse and delivery related instructions Reliable, responsible Computer literate Reliable vehicle (to get to work), email/phone access from home Located in the Madison, WI area NOT A SHORT-TERM POSITION Additional information CDL license not necessary Deliveries mostly in the Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, western, and southern and southeastern Wisconsin areas Good geographic knowledge of Wisconsin preferred Benefits Hourly wage, employee status, paid time off.
