Great opportunity to start with an established Shipping Distribution Company located here in Beautiful Kent, WA. **I am hiring 10 to start tonight or tomorrow NIGHT at 11:59pm to 8:00am ** Position: Package Handler Location: Vancouver, WA 98660 Hours: 11:59pm to 8:00am Pay: $17.00/per hour Will need help for at least 3 months - possible longer. Job Summary: Candidates must have the ability to read and understand English and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. The physical activity associated with this position is considered high. The employee will regularly lift, push, pull and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess valid identification, and be able to pass a TSA screening. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both. Will do rotations on these 3 areas: 1.) Unloading Van/Trailers and Pulling packages out of trailer, throwing on a belt, must be in better shape. a. 50lbs lifting individually, and Group lift between 150lbs- 180lbs group lift. b. Steel toed boots not needed 2.) Loading Trailers Better attention to detail, all safety instructions and direction are in English and all employees must be able to read and speak English. 3.) Labeling/Sorting Pulling packages, placing in correct location.
