PRODUCTION WORKER PSI Urethanes, an established urethane manufacturing company in North Austin, is seeking to fill ENTRY LEVEL positions in our production department. These are full-time positions with on-the-job training provided. Individuals will be performing various duties throughout the production area. Including, but not limited to prep work, packing products for shipment, stocking items, cleaning/cutting/trimming, clean up, machining products, and/or producing/inspecting urethane products according to the customer’s specifications and tolerances from beginning to end. Inspection is done both visually and utilizing measurement tools. Producing includes setting up molds, measuring and mixing raw materials, pouring into molds and breaking-out completed products. Each employee will receive a personalized schedule for the day’s work and expected to complete this schedule by end of shift. This is NOT assembly work. Additionally, individuals may also perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Work week is Monday-Friday. The shop is open from 4:00 am to 5:00pm. 8 hour work shifts are scheduled within those hours. Overtime is minimal. Job Requirements: • High School Diploma / GED • Basic measuring & math skills. Must know how to use a tape measure utilizing inches and fractions of inches • Regular lifting of 35-50 pounds • Attention to detail is very necessary • Dependability/Excellent attendance a must • Ability to work independently • English language skills required • General shop experience a plus We offer a competitive salary.
