In the stimulus bill the government passed a benefit for less fortunate people to get their wifi funded. Up to $50/mo. Please see FCC EBB website for official info. The recipients can qualify in one of 10 ways. Has an income that is at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines or participates in certain assistance programs, such as SNAP, Medicaid, or Lifeline. Are some examples. Its very easy to qualify. Even lowered income caused by the pandemic qualifies. We represent a group of authorized agents and are seeking to hold events at your school, church or organization to help your members take advantage of this benefit. We would setup a table and hand out some flyers with qualifying criteria. If the recipient qualifies then we can sign them up right there at no cost to them. There may be some ID or other qualifying information that the recipient would need. We might want to plan on more than one day to allow them to collect those bits of documentation. Some organizations could be a VFW, American Legion, Lions club, or benevolent organization that assists the poor, elderly or disadvantaged.
